Extractions
Extraction is the process of removing a single tooth or multiple damaged teeth. Extraction is necessary to prevent the infection from spreading to other teeth and causing additional damage. Extractions become necessary when a tooth has decayed and is beyond repairable condition, or sometimes in a matter for a orthodontic procedure. Once a tooth has been extracted, the missing tooth can be by replaced an implant.

Dentures (Partial or Full Removable Prosthesis)
A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. Two types of dentures are available -- complete and partial dentures. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain.

We offer a wide variety of dental services from Initial Oral Examinations, Emergency Dental Care, Fillings, Crowns & Root Canals, Implants, Periodontal Treatment, Dentures & Mouth/Night, Guards, and so much more.

Crowns
When a tooth is severely damaged due to decay, broken fillings, root canal treatment or trauma or underwent root canal treatment, it can be fully covered with a crown. A crown can be fabricated in two- three visits. Crowns are made of all zirconia or porcelain fused to zirconia, which looks almost like your natural tooth. However, there might be indications for all metal crown for back teeth (gold or other precious metal alloys), such as heavy grinders, etc.

What we offer you

Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
We will also take x-rays, which include full mouth x-rays of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth for the proper diagnosis of proximal decay and other pathologies.

Fillings - Resin
Our resin fillings are light cured and tooth-colored to match your teeth.

Root Canal Treatment
Dr. Sun provides patients with most cases of root canal treatments. If you have a decayed tooth with pulp involvement of with abscess, you may benefit from root canal therapy. Root canal therapy is a highly successful dental treatment, and a tooth repaired with a root canal can last for many years.

Gum Disease(Periodontal Disease) / Scaling & Root Planning
The precursor stage of gum disease, known as gingivitis, is characterized by mild symptoms ranging from red, swollen gums to gums that bleed every time you floss. Gingivitis is completely reversible with non-invasive treatments and home care, which requires your participation. However, if left untreated, gingivitis will eventually progress to periodontitis. Dr. Sun and his highly trained Dental Hygienists are willing to help you and can manage many cases of gum disease with less invasive techniques such as non-surgical deep cleanings, and prescribed mouthwashes.  Scaling and root planning involves the removal of calculus (tartar) from the root surfaces of the teeth and below the gum line to help reduce gum disease specific bacterial manifestation. Once your gums are in less inflamed, stable state, we offer periodontal maintenance to keep them healthy. Long-term success is achieved through our professional maintenance and diligent home care.

Implant Placement/Restorations
Implant is an artificial tooth root, made of titanium metal. Dr. Sun provides patients with implant options when they want a long term stable function and superior aesthetic quality. Implant is a permanent fixture in your mouth that has excellent long- term success. It also provides more advanced options for replacing a missing tooth than conventional removable partial denture or a fixed bridge.
